Fifty winners across ten electronic genres will be chosen to compete in Beatport’s ‘Producer Challenge’ contest for US$100,000 in prizes.

Calling all aspiring electronic music producers! Beatport is looking for the next talented artists for their ‘Beatport Producer Challenge’. The online music platform have partnered up with Loopmasters , LANDR, iZotope, and Roland Cloud to give away over US$100,000 in prizes to winning producers across ten of the service’s top electronic genres.

Producers entering the competition are required to create and submit an original piece of music for any of the ten chosen genres until May 11. Genres include Afro house, deep house, future/bass house, house, tech house, melodic house & techno, techno, minimal/deep tech, drum & bass, and trance.

Five winners from each genre will be chosen, with their music being released and promoted on the Beatport website. The winners will also be awarded with software and subscriptions from partnered sponsors.

Prizes include a $50 credit for use on the Beatport website and a 12-month subscription to Beatport Link Pro+ which offers DJ software such as Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox, Virtual DJ, and Hercules DJUCED.

To enter and help with the ‘Producer Challenge’, all participants will have access to a one-month free trial of Loopmasters’ Loopcloud software, a free trial of LANDR’s mastering and distribution platform, and a 30-day free trial of Roland Cloud’s subscription-based sample libraries.
