Hello, it’s Adele leading an award nominations list. Again.
We’re not surprised anymore, really, especially when this is the BRIT Awards, Britain’s equivalent of the Grammys. The “Hello” and “When We Were Young” singer leads with four nominations, including Album of the Year and Best British Single.
Adele joins two other acts for most nominations: James Bay and Years & Years. Both secured four nods each. Calvin Harris and Jess Glynne each earned three nominations.
Set to be held on February 24 at the London O2 Arena, the ceremony will honour the best of British music industry as well as the legend who is no longer with us. Organisers confirmed also a special musical tribute to the late David Bowie.
