Hong Kong’s biggest music and art festival Clockenflap will return for three days this November. It confirmed its phase one lineup with Interpol, Alvvays, Wolf Alice, David Byrne, Khalid, The Vaccines and more.

Held annually, this year Hong Kong biggest music and art festival will happen at Central Harbourfront. Throughout Friday-Sunday, November 9-11, the stage will be welcoming the indie names of your wish-list.
New Yorkers’ indie rock legends Interpol will conquer the stage as one of the headliners with their latest effort Marauder. The rock jackets will share their spotlights with David Byrne and Khalid.
Added to the top-notch indie performances, Sunflower Bean and Wolf Alice will swing by the festival alongside The Vaccines and indie-pop sweethearts Alvvays. Meanwhile, the festival will also be on fire with the aggressiveness of British post-punk band Shame and New York’s art-punk Bodega. (Watch Shame Live on KEXP below)
For electronic music fans, you will get to enjoy some cool performances from artists to watch list like electronica innovator Caribou and British producer who’s known for his Drum n’ Bass music Roni Size. The two will be joined by Aussie electro-house duo Peking Duk, British industrial techno artist Blawan and Britsh house musicmaker Eats Everything.
On top of that, to widen the music experience of the 2018 edition, Canadian artists Rhye, and Blue Hawaii will join the festival. The outfits will be sharing their spotlights with eclectic acts from Malian artists Amadou & Mariam, Danish electronic group Lydmor, UK grime DJ Swindle and Manchester-raised pop singer Youngr.
Meanwhile, American DJ Mika together with French electronic artist Rone and beatmaker from Argentina Chanchan Via Circuito will be there to heat up the floor.
The list of Asian talents is growing this year. The audience will get to hear live music from homegrown beatmaker Cocoonics, math rockers GDJYB. Whereas Taiwanese act will be led by indie pop singer anpu and jazz/R&B talent 9M88. Plus, the audience will get your step up with Korean electronic artist CIFIKA and Chinese rapper Bohan Pheonix. Whereas, multi-instrumentalist Cornelius at-dance trio D.A.N will be representing Japan.

For tickets, early birds are going on-sale until Tuesday, August 21. For Friday passes, tickets are available at HKD820 (GA) / 570 (student). Weekend (Sat-Sun) tickets are HKD890 (GA) / 640 (student). Meanwhile, 3-day passes are going on-sale at HKD1,410 (GA) / 1,080 (students).
