Apparently, his team is currently talking with the festival organisers, and chances are Sheeran will probably be helming 2017’s Glastonbury.
According to The Sun, a source revealed: “Ed has always wanted to do Glasto, it’s been a huge ambition.”
“He’s one of the biggest artists in the world, and British, so bosses are desperate to book him.”
The 25-year-old singer is not new to performing to large audiences. Last year, the “Photograph” singer performed in front of a sold-out crowd at London’s Wembley Stadium three nights in a row.
It gets better. After a year off the radar, Ed Sheeran is set to return with his third studio album with plans for tours and award shows.

His hit single “Thinking Out Loud” earned the singer two Grammy Awards at the 2016 ceremony, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
