Looks like our fans’ disappointment series continues as one of Britain’s biggest pop groups Little Mix cancelled all of their shows in Belfast yesterday (Mar 31), just hours before they show was due to start.
The girl group was forced to called off both of their shows in the Northern Irish capital due member Jesy Nelson’s illness.
Get Weird: Little Mix announce 2016 Asian tour dates
“[We] have unfortunately had to cancel both of their Arena shows in Belfast today. Sadly Jesy is unwell and unable to sing, and as a result both the matinee and evening shows are cancelled. Little Mix would like to apologise to their fans. Ticket holders should hold on to their tickets and await further news,” the “Love Me Like You” singers wrote on Twitter Thursday.
For fans and parents who were waiting outside the SSE Arena, the cancellation announcement was made through text message, which they received shortly before the doors were set to open.
Local promoter Aikens is expected to make an announcement about the rescheduled shows soon.
Little Mix have been travelling across the UK and Ireland for their Get Weird tour, which kicked off last month in Cardiff, Wales. Perrie, Jesy, Jade and Leigh-Anne have 39 more dates to go before the tour wraps up on May 27, including six in Japan and Southeast Asia.
