Bass music talent Mazare unleashes a hard rock and electronic music crossover record in the form of his debut EP, Paracosm, out now via Monstercat.
Mazare’s Paracosm EP blends two different music genres that showcases the producer’s decade-worth of experience and creativity. Drawing elements from hard rock, and EDM subgenres of bass, trap and drum n’ bass, the EP features a variety of guests from electronic music producer CloudNone and EDM vocalist Keepsake to hard rock outfit Bloodhounds and horror punk band Saints Agnes.
Paracosm features previously released singles including hard-hitting, rock-trap crossover ‘Wake Up’ with Bloodhounds, and emotional pop punk-inspired ‘Open Heart’ with Keepsake and Liel Kolet

Mazare says,
‘The word ‘Paracosm’ literally means ‘imaginary world’, and it’s something that usually originates during childhood; it has defined rules, history, geography and language, and may incorporate elements from reality and everyday life, as well as fictional characters and features. With this title I wanted to reflect the various styles and genres I explored in this piece of work, and my general tendency as a producer. It also ties in with the story I am telling through the artworks of my songs, but this is something fans will discover as we go….:)’
In conjunction with the momentous release, the producer shared his stunning DJ set performance at Italy’s Grotta Gigante cavern, one of the largest caves in the world. The set features Mazare playing songs from the EP as well as old fan faves.
Massimo Pezzetta, known as Mazare, is an Italian DJ who gained prominence thanks to his 2014 remix of ‘Paradise’ by Daniel Wanrooy, Ad Brown, and Ghost Wars.

His lead single of the Paracosm EP, ‘Wake Up’, has garnered nearly 200,000 combined streams.
