It’s been on our minds whether Paramore would extend their Asia tour since their Manila and Jakarta shows had been postponed (to August 23 and 25, respectively).

When promoter LAMC Productions dropped a major hint on Monday, we knew we were on to something good. Today they finally confirmed that the Grammy-winning band have added Singapore to the schedule, playing Zepp@Big Box on Tuesday, August 21.

This will be the American rockers’ first time back in sunny Singapore in seven years. They headlined Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2011 on the Brand New Eyes Tour.

Tickets go on sale at May 3 from 10am via SISTIC, hotline +65 63485555 and at all SISTIC Authorised Agents. Prices are SGD158 from May 3-5 and SGD168 May 6 onwards. Priority entry add-on is SGD20.

Beside the Southeast Asia dates, the “Hard Times” band will perform at Summer Sonic festival in Tokyo and Osaka on August 18-19.

The tour comes in support of Paramore’s fifth album After Laughter. The album marks the return of drummer Zac Farro who originally left the band in 2010 with his brother and guitarist Josh.
