Just when you thought 2016 was a good year for concerts and festivals in the Philippines, December proves it can get better.
American indie/electro pop singer-songwriter Phoebe Ryan announced she’ll be performing live in the Philippines for the first time this New Year’s Eve at the Eastwood Mall Open Park’s annual countdown event, Eastwood-Quezon City New Year Countdown to 2017.

Does the name ring a bell? You bet! Phoebe Ryan lent her vocals to The Chainsmokers’ latest single “All We Know”, a followup to the duo’s 2016 staple play “Closer”.
Signed under Columbia Records in 2015, Ryan rose to fame with her mashup of R. Kelly’s “Ignition” released in her acclaimed EP Mine along with a titular single, “Mine”, which Tove Lo described as “gold” and Taylor Swift listed as one of the “New Songs That Will Make Your Life More Awesome (I promise!)”
This December 31 (6PM) you’ll get to witness a live performance from the up-and-coming pop powerhouse. Joining Phoebe Ryan on stage will be Filipina singer and broadway star Rachelle Ann Go, The Voice Kids alum Darren Espanto, R&B artist Quest, rockers Up Dharma Down, Autotelic, Sud, Maude, and Lenses.
The event is free entry and will be hosted by TV and radio personalities Janeena Chan and Nikko Angelo Ramos. Don’t forget to catch the Grand Fireworks Display and Dazzling Star Drop, inspired by the Times Square’s Ball Drop Party, when the clock strikes midnight.
