21-year-old Pop and R&B phenomenon Bazzi will head to TheΒ Star Theatre in Singapore, TheΒ Bee, Publika in Kuala Lumpur, We The Fest in Jakarta, Music Zone @ E-Max in Kowloon, Legacy in Taipei, Vas Livehouse in Shanghai and The Island in Manila.
His breakthrough single βMine’ debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 along with both Top 40 and Rhythmic radio and the music video for the single has picked up over 138 million views on YouTube.
‘Mine’ is currently certified triple platinum with over 350 million total plays. He has also caught the attention of some of the worldβs most famous names like Taylor Swift and K-pop phenomenon BTS, who singled the song out on social media.
Drawing music influences ranging from Justin Timberlake and Bryson Tiller to Duran Duran and Guns NβRoses, Bazzi says this of his music:
βI hope people listen to my music and leave with that good energy. The goal is for them to feel sexy and confident as they blare it with their windows down. It’s like a trip.β
Released in April 2018, Bazziβs urban-pop infused album βCosmicβ has been streamed over 2 billion times globally.
The young sensation continues to gain traction in the scene, with a remix of βBeautifulβ featuring Camila Cabello, as well as other new singles, much to fansβ excitement. He has also written songs for popular Korean bands including EXO, Girls Generation and NCT Dream.
He said in his release of his latest single βParadiseβ earlier in April this year:
