Look out rock fans – Green Day will be coming to Asia in 2020 as part of their Global, with stops in Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.

Formed in 1986, the members of Green Day consist of lead vocalist and guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tré Cool.
Regarded as one of the world’s best-selling bands of all time with more than 70 million records sold worldwide and 10 billion cumulative audio and visual streams, their 1994 breakout album ‘Dookie’, also sold over 10 million and achieved diamond status, and is widely credited with popularising and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock, catapulting a career-long run of #1 hit singles. The band is also most known for hits like ‘21 Guns’, ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends’, ‘Boulevard Of Broken Dreams’, and ‘American Idiot’, all four of which have had at least 100 million views on Youtube to date.

In September this year, the band released their latest single and title track ‘Father Of All…’ which will be part of their upcoming 13th album ‘Father Of All Mother*******’. Other upcoming tracks in this album include ‘Bulletproof Backpack’, ‘Art of the Deal with the Devil’, ‘Junkies on a High’, ‘Sugar Youth’, and ‘Meet Me on the Roof’.
Singapore will be the first stop on the new tour, which will see them performing shows in region and featuring songs from this album, slated to be released on 7 February 2020.
Then in June, the band will tour with co-headliners Weezer and Fall Out Boy – The Hella Mega Tour presented by Harley-Davidson, where they will play in Europe, the UK and North America.

Singapore and Hong Kong will be presented by Lushington Entertainments while Bangkok, Manila, Taipei, Seoul and Japan will be presented by Live Nation Asia.
