Known for not letting EDM devotees catch their breath (in a good way), Tomorrowland has decided to drop details on the upcoming edition even earlier than usual this year.
The world’s biggest dance festival announced through social media Monday night it will return with a double weekend edition on July 20-22 and July 27-29, 2018 on the grounds of De Schorre, Boom with the theme “The Story of Planaxis”.

Planaxis, Wikipedia tells us, are sea gastropods or snails with a cone-shaped shell. This and the festival’s first artwork seem to suggest we’re going leagues under the sea to an enchanting Atlantis-esque world.
“A magical tale is about to unveil,” Tomorrowland wrote. “Be part of this fascinating new adventure and discover a magnificent new world ‘The Story of Planaxis'”.
The festival added the pre-registration for the much sought-after tickets will open on January 9, with full details on the passes and packages to follow on the day (usually an hour before the pre-registration starts).
Pre-registration is necessary in order for prospective attendees to be eligible for the official ticket sales, which are Global Journey Sale on January 20 (5pm CET), WorldWide Pre-sale on January 27 (5pm CET) and WorldWide Ticket Sale on February 3 (5pm CET).
