Canadian experimental rockers Suuns to perform in Bangkok in June

Canadian experimental rock act Suuns (pronounced “soons”) are making their Bangkok debut in June.

Indie promoter HAVE YOU HEARD? revealed today the Montreal foursome will be headlining the latest installment of #HYHBKK Live! on Wednesday, June 20 at Rockademy Thailand De Commune.

Tickets cost THB1,100 (early bird) and THB1,300, going up for grabs through Ticketmelon March 17 onwards.

The show will mark Suuns’s first time back in Asia since their 2013 tour to promote sophomore album Images Du Futur. This time around, they will get the crowd strut their stuff with their fourth and latest effort, Felt.

Formed in Montreal in 2007, Suuns are Ben Shemie (vocals and guitar), Max Henry (keyboard), Joseph Yarmush (guitar) and Liam O’Neill (drums). They’re known for their avant-garde, if hypnotic, combination of electronic, rock, psychedelic and art elements. Here’s “Watch You, Watch Me” off their new album.
