Neon Lights is pleased to welcome one-man party machine Hot Dub Time Machine and breakout Australian star G Flip to the festival this Sunday, 24th November.
Almost impossible not to enjoy, global party sensation Hot Dub Time Machine has floored crowds at in his native Australia as well as Coachella and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The time-travelling DJ’s unique appeal lies in his ability to transcend generations with a mix of every genre from every decade paired with complementary videos for an incomparable audio-visual experience to remember for a while.
Making her Singapore debut, G Flip has just finished up her first nationwide tour of Australia culminating in sold-out shows to thousands of fans. She dropped her first song About You last February which immediately wowed critics at Pitchfork, Rolling Stones and NPR with her fresh spin on indie-pop.
G Flip and her four-piece band has since gone on to headline gigs around the world – with eight showcases at SXSW in just a span of a year. Her talent led her to Future Classic, the same Australian record label that also brought us the likes of Flume, Flight Facilities and fellow Neon Lights Festival performer Nick Murphy fka Chet Faker.
The Australians will share the stage on Sunday, 24th November along with AURORA, BADBADNOTGOOD, Gus Dapperton, Cosmo’s Midnight, Joan. Hot Dub Time Machine will join the aptly named Ice Cream Sundays, Clean Bandit DJ/ MC Set and Fleetmac Wood at The Bandstand on Sunday, 24th November.
