Take a look at our other favourites from the Five Stars album…
1. Higher Brothers – “Gong Xi Fa Cai”

“Gong Xi Fa Cai.” The phrase, which roughly translates to “wish you get rich,” is a common saying during Chinese New Year festive, and apparently one that is worthy of attention in the rap game. This Chinese song was chosen to promote Five Stars as one of the lead singles.

2. Higher Brothers – “Open It Up”

‘Open it Up’ was written during one of their recent US tours, the track is particularly fascinating for its lyrics; describing daily life through a lens unaccustomed to consuming American culture up close. Inspired partly by Playboi Carti, the song trades in the group’s signature beats for something remarkably old school, acting as a perfect introduction to each member’s unique flow.

3. Higher Brothers ft. Ski Mask the Slump God & Denzel Curry – “One Punch Man”

“One Punch Man” is a Song that have been adapted and inspired an ongoing Japanese superhero webcomic created by ONE , which began publication in early 2009. The story Saitama, a superhero who grew bored by lack of challenge in his fights and wants a worthy opponent. Both Ski Mask The Slump God and Denzel Curry are no stranger of the anime culture as the lyrics are filled with anime references.
