The Philippines’ biggest pop music event In The Mix Manila is set to return on this August with a very squeal-worthy lineup.

Presented by MMI Live, the multi-act concert will take place on Thursday, August 17 at the Mall of Asia Arena and feature Aussie pop punk band 5 Seconds of Summer, Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson, and The Chainsmokers’ “Don’t Let Me Down” vocalist Daya.

With Liam Gallagher’s solo concert recently announced, it seems Philippine promoters are rushing to seize the opportunity with the artists billed for Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival. Can we expect those elsewhere in the region to do the same?

Last year In The Mix Manila launched its inaugural edition on with six big pop and alternative names, namely, The 1975, Panic! At The Disco, James Bay, Third Eye Blind, Twin Pines and Elle King.
