Music promoter Now/Live (Franz Ferdinand) today confirmed British electronic music wizard Jon Hopkins for Singapore. Slated to perform on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, Hopkins will be performing his music at Capitol Theatre.
The show is part of Jon Hopkins’ new album Singularity‘s promotion. The album marked Hopkins his fifth studio effort for his career.
Tickets will go on sale through APACTix this Friday (Sep 14), starting at 10am onwards. Prices are SGD78 (Advance) / 100 (At the door). The shown advance price is SGD4 booking fee excluded.
Jon Hopkins is British electronic music producer and musician. He started earning his international success and fame through his contributed works with Brian Eno, Coldplay and David Holmes. In 2011, his name appeared on Mercury Prize-nominated list for his collaborative album with Scottish singer-songwriter King Creosote Diamond Mine. Two years later, Hopkins made a return on Mercury Prize-nominated list for his fourth studio album Immunity.

This year, the electronica wizard from Britain is back with his fifth full-length effort Singularity. The album is known for taking the audience on an extraordinary journey of the world nestling between “dystopian urbanity and the green forest”. And he’s ready to take Singapore to the journey live on stage in February 2019.
