Jung Yonghwa’s much-anticipated solo concert in Bangkok has been cancelled, promoter IME Thailand announced this morning.

According to the official announcement, the CNBLUE frontman has been summonedΒ for his mandatory military service, and will enlist on March 5.

As a result, his agency, FNC Entertainment, was forced to call off any overseas promotional events that follow Yonghwa’s January 27 concert in Hong Kong. The Bangkok show was scheduled forΒ February 10 at Thunder Dome Muang Thong Thani.

“We ask all the domestic and international fans, who dedicated their precious time showing interest in Jung Yonghwa, for their understanding,” FNC stated on their official website.

They also stated that the “One Fine Day” singer will not be participating in CNBLUE’s upcoming activities, including their fan meeting tour in Japan, and ensured proper steps to refund ticket holders.
