Bedroom pop artist mxmtoon has dropped a special cover of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ for the highly-anticipated video game Life Is Strange: True Colors.
mxmtoon’s haunting reimagining of Radiohead’s ‘Creep’ will be featured as part of the Life Is Strange: True Colors video game soundtrack.
mxmtoon tells us,
“Really excited to share my cover of ‘Creep’ by Radiohead! It’s nerve-wracking to make your own version of such an iconic and established song, but ‘Creep’ is a classic and I had so much fun being able to put my own spin on it. Hopefully other people can be inspired to make versions of their own favorite songs and put them out in the world to share as well.”
The American bedroom pop artist isn’t only involved with the soundtrack, she will also provide the singing voice for the game’s new main character, Alex Chen.
Life Is Strange: True Colors, created by Deck Nine Games and published by Square Enix, is the third mainline game of the critically-lauded narrative-driven adventure game series Life Is Strange.
The announcement trailer was released last Friday to much fanfare. Watch the trailer of the new game below. More details can be found on the Life is Strange website.
