Aussie psychedelic rock group POND will be performing in Singapore on Thursday, November 23 at Esplanade Annexe Studio, LAMC Production confirmed today.
The Perth four-piece is coming back after two years with their new tour in support of their latest LP The Weather. Singapore is the only stop in the region so far, but psychedelic fans in Bangkok may want to keep an out for good news.

Tickets to POND Live in Singapore are SGD78 and 118, going on sale August 15 at 9am through sistic.com.sg, and at 10am through hotline (65) 6348-5555 and at all SISTIC Authorised Agents. Tickets include one house pour drink.
Hailing from Perth, Australia, POND formed in 2008 by Joseph Ryan, Nick Allbrook and Jay Watson, established musicians who hit upon the idea of an all inclusive, ego-free collaboration. Apart from sharing Allbrook and Watson with fellow psychedelic fave Tame Impala, POND often work with the former’s Kevin Parker, who lends his drumming and mixing chops to Psychedelic Mango, Man It Feels Like Space Again and most recently The Weather.

Update (Sep 6): LAMC Productions confirmed today the show is part of the Rising Star concert series and POND will be joined by local synth-pop act The Analog Girl.
Coming back in its fourth installment, Rising Star is a live music initiative that showcases up-and-coming international artists. Previous edition saw Jamie Lawson, Nothing But Thieves, and Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown perform in an intimate setting alongside significant local acts.
