The K-pop digital live concert series features performances from SM Entertainment boy bands SuperM, WayV, NCT Dream, and NCT 127.
SM Entertainment have partnered up with tech company Naver to reveal their new live concert streaming service ‘Beyond LIVE’. The series of concerts will be available to stream on Naver’s V Live streaming app.
The first artists to perform on the service are SM Entertainment boy bands SuperM on April 26, WayV on May 3, NCT Dream on May 10, and NCT 127 on May 17. Each show will premiere at 3PM KST on their respective dates.
While K-pop live stream concerts are nothing new, the ‘Beyond LIVE’ concert experience offers a ticketing system. Currently, the SuperM concert is priced around US$30 for access on two devices via Naver’s V app. Fans eager to tune in to all four shows will have to pay a total of US$120. Merchandise will also be available to purchase in the service.
‘Beyond LIVE’ marks the first online K-pop digital live concert series as the ongoing COVID-19 situation continues to put everyone around the world in self-quarantine.
