Avant-pop singer-songwriter Tirzah shares new single ‘Hive Mind’ with an accompanying short film ahead of the release of her second album, Colourgrade, out October 1.

Tirzah’s new track, ‘Hive Mind’, is “a tribute to community and to family, and all the friction and harmony that comes with it.”

The song is written alongside longtime collaborators Colby Sey and Micah Levi. Releasing alongside the single is the accompanying video directed, edited, and shot by Leah Walker and Rebecca Salvadori.

‘Hive Mind’ is the fourth track to be shared from the London-based artist’s anticipated sophomore effort, Colourgrade, following her singles ‘Send Me’, ‘Sink In’, and ‘Tectonic’.

Colourgrade explores “recovery, gratitude, and new beginnings.” Recorded before the birth of her second child, it presents the singer’s discovery of the type of love shared between mother and child while working as a music artist.

Capturing both the great and the scary, the exhaustion and the recovery, Colourgrade is a listless amble through the innermost feelings, an intoxicating presentation of a full time mother and artist.
