Give back to wildlife conservation with an electronic music livestream event featuring global DJ talents from the house and techno scenes.
Charity organisation Music Against Animal Cruelty (MAAC) have partnered up with Beatport to host a virtual livestream marathon on Saturday, May 16. Titled ‘Wild Digital’, the livestream event features a lineup of DJ talents from the house and techno scenes including Loco Dice, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Art Department, Mathew Jonson, wAFF, Cassy, Cici, Dennis Ferrer, as well as a B2B set from techno power couple Adam Beyer and Ida Engberg.

The livestream will premiere on Beatport’s Twitch channel at 4pm GMT. All proceeds made during the event will support the organisation’s wildlife conservation efforts. These include rhino monitoring and anti-poaching in South Africa, protecting lions in Kenyan communities as well as snow leopards in Nepal, providing essential food and care for orangutans in Central Kalimantan Borneo, and reducing wildlife trade in China.
Donors will be entered into a raffle with an opportunity to win one of five DDJ-200 controllers supplied by Pioneer DJ.
MACC was founded in 2017 by Jonny White of Art Department, Pulse Radio founder Wade Cawood, and Tears for Tigers founder Jack Baucher, They have hosted multiple fundraising dance music events to help endangered animals, most notably their 2018 ‘Wild’ debut event in Ushuaia, Argentina which featured DJ performances from Adam Beyer, Ida Engberg, Black Coffee, Jamie Jones, etc. Last year in October, they recently held their first art auction at the Sabina Ibiza private villa estate with artist Robyn Ward.
