Jakarta will become the “City of Stars” this November as global phenomenon La La Land concert brings its Hollywood charm to the Indonesian capital.
Rajawali Indonesia, the team behind Prambanan Jazz 2017, confirmed today La La Land in Concert: A Live-to-Film Celebration in Jakarta is happening on Saturday and Sunday November 4-5 at Ciputra Artpreneur Theatre.

Tickets are now on sale through Tiketapasaja, ranging from IDR600,000-2,750,000.
La La Land in Concert: A Live-to-Film Celebration World Tour kicked off in May with two nights at the historic Hollywood Bowl before staging sold-out shows across America, Europe and Australia. So far Jakarta is the only stop in Asia for the special screening of La La Land and the concert of its award-sweeping scores by Justin Hurwitz.

While we wait for the specifics from the promoter, the concert is reported to feature a 100-piece orchestra, jazz ensemble, and chorus. Fans hoping to see Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling and John Legend will be disappointed, however. While the music will be live, the vocals won’t be.
La La Land in Concert is another picture-to-live production event cinephiles can look forward to this year, with Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in Concert set to put a spell on Kuala Lumpur this November 4-5.
