Icelandic post-rock group Sigur Rós have announced tour dates for Singapore, Thailand, Japan and South Korea of their upcoming world tour.

Sigur Rós have announced that they will perform in Asia as part of their 2022 world tour.

All Asia tour dates will take place in August with shows in Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Thailand. Venues have yet to be announced

UPDATE: The Bangkok gig will take place at Moonstar Studio on Sunday, August 28. Tickets are for available THB2,800 via Ticketmelon.

The Asia leg will be in Singapore on August 17 at The Star Theatre with fan presales starting on Wednesday (April 27) and general tickets going on sale via Sistic this Friday (April 29).

They will then head to Seoul on August 19, two Japan shows – August 22 at Zepp Osaka Bayside and August 25 at Tokyo Garden Theatre – and finally August 28 in Bangkok.

The Asia shows are the latest to be added to shows in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and North America.

According to a press release, the band will perform “new songs at the shows, alongside material drawn from their acclaimed 25 year discography”.
