Yo, Shady’s Back! Time to Drop Some Mic Bombs! 

Alert the authorities ’cause Slim Shady’s back and ready to cause lyrical anarchy! Eminem unleashed his fiery new single “Houdini” on Friday, May 31st, and it’s a full-on Slim Shady resurrection. This ain’t your mama’s Eminem. “Houdini” is the first taste of Em’s upcoming album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce),” and it sounds like Shady’s here to stay (or should we say, slay?). We all know Slim Shady is the unhinged side of Em, the one who drops rhymes so raw they could melt the mic.  

Remember “My palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/There’s vomit on his sweater already: mom’s spaghetti”? Yeah, that was pure Shady brilliance. And from the sounds of “Houdini,” Shady’s back with a vengeance. He even throws some shade at himself in the new track:  “‘Still a white jerk (It’s him!), pullin’ up in a Chrysler to the cypher.'”  Classic Shady self-deprecation with a bite.
