Thai fans were left gutted with her last-minute Wonderfruit cancellation so when it was announced that Shura would be joining We The Fest and Good Vibes this August, they’ve clung to a glimmer of hope that the synth-pop singer would make time for Bangkok.

Now thanks to Medium Rare Live, Shura will finally make her Bangkok debut on Wednesday, August 9 ahead of her regional festival tour. Further details are yet to be announced as the gig is not official-official. We only have this hint for now and you can easily tell that it’s Shura.

Back in February Shura cancelled her appearance at Wonderfruit Festival due to “personal reasons” and promised to make up for it one day. While in Southeast Asia, she’ll join the ranks of Phoenix, Kodaline and Dua Lipa at Indonesia’s We The Fest on August 11-13 and Malaysia’s Good Vibes Festival on August 12-13.

Shura, or Alexandra Lilah Denton, is a synth-pop singer-songwriter and producer from Manchester. She made her debut with 2014’s “Touch”, one of her best known singles alongside “2Shy” and “What’s It Gonna Be?”. Her LP, Nothing’s Real, was released last July to very favourable reviews.

Update (Jul 14): Shura will be performing on Wednesday, August 9 at Heaven, Zen at Central World.

Tickets are priced at THB990 (early bird) and 1,290 (regular), going on sale this Saturday, July 15, 10am through Ticket Melon.
