The new music video by Porches, the musical project by NY-based artist Aaron Maine, features the artist thrashing about the room with his bandmates.

Porches’ ‘Lately’ features a video directed by frequent collaborator, Nick Harwood. The MV follows singer Aaron Maine as he thrashes around a house while his unlikely band pummels through the song.

On the album opener, Maine wastes no time flinging himself into the crashing synths, cymbals, and guitars, while repeating lyrics as if in a trance, stumbling upon a new meaning each time:Β β€œCrying out! How’s everybody holding up out there??!!”

‘Lately’ is the latest single from his forthcoming album,Β All Day Gentle Hold !, due for release on October 8.

All Day Gentle Hold !Β is describedΒ by Maine asΒ β€œthe most energetic, off-the-cuff moments, collaged together into the most captivating songs [he] could make.”

Recorded by Maine in his New York home studio, the 11-track record is influenced by the musician’s teenage years of listening to pop punk and grunge from the likes of The Ramones and Nirvana.
